It's a fine debut, but ultimately nothing special. Feels a bit punky, has some cool tracks on it but they don't add upto much.

Suprisingly good debut from this incredible band. Very different sound to their later stuff but their penchant for weirdness and a cracking good melody is already apparent. Much rockier/punkier though, which is a fun surprise. Sounds like early R.E.M./My Bloody Valentine and even Nirvana at points. Great album.
