Forget about to Pimp a Butterfly or Good kid, M.A.A.D City. This Kendrick best album!
This is very different of what Kendrick would brings us later, but still is a good record. Here we can see his style slowly taking form.
"Barbed Wire" is the first great song of his in my opinion, simply a banger!
Definitly not bad by any means! Not a big rap or hip hop genre lover personally (never even listened to it before I discovered and gave To Pimp a Butterfly a chance) but this isn't bad at all. If nothing else the tracks Michael Jordan and H.O.C. are really catchy and have mass appeal for me.
So underrated.
