This album does not rock at all, but somehow it makes this album more cohesive. Many ballads and softness may have been the reason for bad sales in 1970?
The 4th. Album from Free and a commercial flop! But hey, this is perhaps their best album. Lowkey, more subtle and soulful than the more hardrocking Fire and water, but listen to the songs here. Magnificent! The melancholy of the last song, Soon I will be gone, is intensely moving. Paul Rodgers' voice is in top shape and Koss on shivering guitar is stunning! Give it a listen!
