The best showcase so far for Angel Olsen's extraordinarily lofty vocals and natural talents as a performer, even if the songwriting still seems to be playing a bit of catch up. While Half Way Home may lack a good number of remarkable moments or stand-out tracks, Olsen's voice is the real star here. She is definitely something special and should be fascinating to watch as she grows as a composer and songwriter.
