I think the original versions are better than most of these. It's a neat sound but I think a lot is lost without as much being gained. "Chance" doesn't have nearly the same impact as I think it does in its other version but "Waving, Smiling" is a nice rendition.

Ordinarily I’m not a fan of reimagined albums such as this one, however I’m going to make an exception here because its so darn good to point where if it were a stand alone release it would contend for AOTY
A stripped-down gem ‘Whole New Mess’ see’s AO rework 9 tracks from 2019s dense’All Mirrors’ plus include 2 new originals with only her warbling voice and guitar as accompaniment that harkens back to ‘Burn Your Fire For No Witness’ and ‘Strange Cactus’
