Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. While not up to par with the original classic seven albums, this one has moments of greatness. Driftwood is one of Justin's great ballads. Ray Thomas strikes the perfect melancholy chord with Under Moonshine. John Lodge gets us really grooving with Top Rank Suite. For me, the real highlight is Graeme Edge's thoughtful and momentous I'll Be Level with You.
