Nice little underrated gem hidden amongst the 90s britpop of Oasis, Blur, Suede, Pulp. The Circle is an absolute classic. Well worth a listen.

Can't say this was really on my playlist at the time though other than the singles. It's actually a pretty decent album of the times but it probably lacks the personality of the bigger acts of the scene even though the songs are mostly good. The production is a bit nondescript. Better than a hell of a lot of Britpop types but probably sit about right as their reputation suggests in the pantheon as second tier.

I never get tired of listening to this. What an absolute classic.
For me the soundtrack to the summer of 96, great times! Just puts me in a good mood when I listen to it.
