Dance gets a little schlocky, but this isn't a bad debut for the man who made country relevant again.

With time relentlessly moving forward, the man most responsible for rockin' up country don't really rock anymore, and neither does his early records. His debut is an ok listen, but with few numbers worth noting (Much Too Young and Cowboy Bill).
