Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 72.3/100, a mean average of 71.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 72.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.3.

Toques jazzísticos y progresivos para un álbum interesante, aunque bastante diferente de los que le siguieron, y del que, no nos engañemos, no se acordaría nadie si no fuera por el éxito posterior de la banda.

It feels a bit like the missing link between Love and Pink Floyd.

This album is one of the best surprises I've had in a long time. Being so low-rated, I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. In fact, it might now be my favorite album by Supertramp! (Or it's Crisis, I don't know). It is almost flawless, a very consistent and impressive effort. Don't overlook it!

If, like me, you prefer progressive music when it's organic and warm, this one's definitely for you.

What an album, this band is one of the most creative of the 70s.

Really unknown debut album by this band in which their usual piano/saxophone is (almost) absent while light heavy guitars and organs ride you through a journey which can't leave you unchanged. If you prefer Supertramp's prog over Supertramp's pop like I do, you will love this album.

Fantastic debut, and as always with these more obscure early-career discs, annoyingly underrated. Definitely my third-favourite Supertramp album after their two masterpieces

I really like this record. The previous comment is correct. This record is like Fleetwood Mac before the big shake up. More progressive than their later albums, this album is not for fans of their more poppy material.

This is a real good album but it is not fans of Supertramp who should listen to this album but fans of Peter Green era Fleetwood Mac.
