Marco do pop rock latino!
Los Babasónicos son, sin lugar a dudas, los maestros del kitsch latinoamericano.
Si la mayoría del Rock en Español de alta calidad decide incorporar la tradición estética del folclore o dialoga directamente con los subgéneros del rock, el caso de Babasónicos es excepcional, pues sus canciones deciden beber de la balada pop, el rock n'roll y demás plasticidades comerciales que formaron una especie de sonido rosa que inundó los hogares en Latinoamérica con tintes electrónicos.
Son la versión química y cínicamente cachonda de lo que se escuchó en las radios familiares de los años 60's a los 90's desde México hasta Argentina.
