I'm one of those guys that loves all sorts of extreme metal, but really doesn't care for black metal all that much for whatever reason. But this record is special. I love the low fidelity (which is typical of black metal, obviously), but I also love the avant-garde and noise influences. Murmuüre is one of those records that is not afraid to explore and stretch the limits of the medium. One of the most unique records I've ever heard.
