Thanks to whoever amended this album to the correct 73 version (sorry but I can no longer edit my original comment to reflect the changes). I kept meaning to do it myself once I realised how easy editing was but it's a triple album, the whole track order needed rearranging, and somehow I never got around to it, so thankyou again to whoever did. Will just add that there were a whole series of Anthologies released that year to celebrate 25 years of Mowtown but as I was a schoolboy on pocket money this was the only one I could afford at the time of their release I didn't hear any others until years later when I tracked down the Smokey Robinson and Stevie Wonder versions. How disappointing the Smokey double album and Stevie triple were compared to this one by the Temps. It seems that I really made a great choice for my pocket money!

What a remarkably strong collection of singles they had in a relatively short time, evolving seamlessly from a pop soul outfit to funky R&B beasts.

This is not the album I mean to include in my chart , this one has tracks from the 80's on it but says it's released in 73, wish someone would put it right.

This is the ONE definitive collection. The Temptations were as good as it got back in the day.
