Arguably their best work they rocked really hard but added more commercial appeal which is the direction former guitarist Uli Roth didn’t want to go. They had the original guitarist Michael Schenker return and added Matthias Jabs. Favorite tunes are Loving You Sunday Morning, Another Piece of Meat, Always Somewhere and Is Anybody There?

Alongside Blackout this is the Scorpions at their commercial best.
This seemed very promising after the -very good- opening track, but the rest of it didn't deliver the same way.

This album is very good thanks to Michael Schenker's involvement. Michael left shortly after the release on tour. Rudy, Uli & Mathias have never come close to Michael's talent.
An excellent Scorpions album with a good mix of heavy and melodic tracks. The change in guitarist saw Scorpions moving through a transition. What an album cover too, you wouldn't see a cover like that in 2018!
A new guitarist brings a welcome new sound to the band. The first classic album by the band.

Suuuch a good Scorpions album! Plus Michael Schenker was back to do some guest work on this one!!!
What a difference a new guitarist makes. Everything else was constant except Uli John Roth had left and had been replaced for recording purposes by Mathias Jabs and Michael Schenker. The production work is so much better - the guitar is a sonically more up front. But the song writing and arrangements are markedly improved from their predecessors.
Favourite tracks: Loving You Sunday Morning, Coast to Coast, Is There Anybody There?, Lovedrive and Holiday.
