Great psychedelic almost instrumental album. Parts of the music on side two could fit a cowboy movie, given the drama created between the guitar and rhythm section. Perhaps this was intended looking at the rear off the sleeve artwork and text. It offers something different to a lot of the psychedelia around at the time. I like it and don't find it boring as some do.

Horrendous. Two stars would be generous. Stunned by how far out into boring this goes. And I'm a jam band enthusiast. The so-called songs on the second side are a joke. (Edited)
Recorded live, happy trails, is a great bluesy rock record. It's very good but sometimes I'm urging the band to really go for it and they frustratingly hold back. Still, can't argue with the quality of music. Good stuff.
Wonderful guitar playing. As others have said, It does loose it’s way a little at times but I can forgive that as the overall feel is fantastic. Quality album (Edited)

Fantastic album. It's like Progressive-Psychedelic Rock. Really underrated, and way ahead of it's time. Might go on my chart one day.
