I have been lucky enough to see Nils Lofgren twice, one time back in the eighties, again about 8 years ago. Nils is a very underrated musician, he is a seriously good guitarist having been a stable in Springsteen's E Street band for many years. He is also a good pianist (contributing on Neil Young's After the Goldrush) and at one concert I'm sure I saw him switch places with the drummer for a song. All of the songs on this album bring back happy memories of those concerts, there are no weak tracks, an underrated album as well as artist.
This one proves that Nils didn't need to be a side man to make a great record.

What a gem this is! Nicely hidden, in its own little place in a mid-seventies world with tracks such as "Keith Don't Go (Ode to the Glimmer Twin)", "If I Say It, It's So" and "Goin' Back".
