Frida sings the Swedish (original) version of Fernando, plus a bunch of covers in Swedish, including then-current hits from David Bowie, 10cc, etc. Some of the lyrics are pretty different than the original/English language as well. Which is all fine, especially if you are a Swedish speaker in the 1970's, but I don't think these are better than the originals. Even the ABBA version of Fernando is a bit of an improvement, but maybe that's just because it's what we're used to. Anyhow, Frida is clearly a good singer and it's a good album, but nothing mind-blowing.
