SRV's rendition of Voodoo Chile is reason enough to own this album. What an impresario he was. America's best - he is sorely missed.

Shockingly, this is even better than Stevie's debut! Still full of fiery blues, but even better exposition of Stevie's unique musical vision.

alternate title of this full-bluesrock record: stevie races up and down the fretboard. astonishing skills, of course. very nice blues singing, too.

Trying to visualize playing what I hear just hurts my brain. This is out of most guitarists league, without sounding pretentious.
