The bass playing on here by Lemmy is astonishing and the roots of Motorhead are clear. Amazing Live Album!
awful experimental rock
Hawkwind have always been a band you've got to experience in a live setting to fully appreciate and this is as close as you're going to get to catching them in their early 70s glory.
Space Punk! Great band and Lemmy sounds great here!

This might be the best live album ever!
Brilliant 'Live' album. Captures the classic Hawkwind experience. Saw them on this tour, and it was awesome, and fuckin' loud as Hell..! So, that's the way to play it... LOUD!!!
The greatest live album of all time without question. Really captures their early 70's sound with all the bleeps and whistling and humming computer noises, as well as a barrage of incredible riffs and spaced out songs. Unbelievable !!!!!

Saw them live at Massey Hall in 1974 and it was scary great. This album is a pale imitation of the real thing but it's all we have. Imagine what Hawkwind could have done if they had Radiohead's 21st century technology! :D
