Honest enough practitioner (who am I to rate somebody? I can't sing or play a note without a mistake...) but nothing special; except whether by accident or design he hit a dead solid perfect take of "I Get A Kick Out Of You", had a top ten hit with it, and sent my generation scrambling to figure out that Cole Porter mattered a lot and why. His version really is that good, and he deserves buckets of credit for it.
