Energetic and raw. A great punk record.

The intent: the ultimate feminist record, showing how the patriarchy fucks up everything on a personal level. It almost succeeds. It's too bad, because if it worked just a little better, this could have been a record not to have been ignored.
When an album relies on loud guitars that drags on for longer than you though possible, you can't seem to believe that those who wrote "Live Through This" started off with such a horribly made album with only a shred of enjoyability and total mindlessness, hoping that the myth that "louder is better" will get them not only attention, but credibility.
I absolutely love this album. One of my favorites.
