The album is good, but the Lady in Red is just the best song in it.
Into the Light us another great album full of great songs and a credit to the great man. Was still an avid fan of his at this point
I saw Chris De Burgh at the Cornwall Coliseum at the peak of his musical career, which was the release of this album in my opinion. I still have the tape which was played to the point of almost snapping, this was when having a tape player in a car was the buis! Although 'Lady in Red' was played to death on the radio and in nightclubs, it isn't actually the best track on the album. There are several better ones including 'Fire on the Water', 'Say Goodbye To It All' and 'Fatal Hesitation'. A very uplifting listen. And by way of this sentence, I am updating this comment above (26/11/18) to add that having picked up an excellent copy on vinyl, the album production is superb with every instrument set clearly and just right in the mix. Fantastic album bringing back lots of happy late teen memories!
