There is really a lot going on when you listen to this record and it makes getting lost in the music very easy to do. The record is filled with complex and progressive songs that are all allowed to develop properly. This allows us to properly engage with each track and experience the quality we are being shown. The record flows extremely well also with each song matching up in terms of style and atmosphere which makes it extremely cohesive. Instrumentally, it is very strong with the percussion being the highlight for me. This is because it makes the music standout and gives it this exotic feel. However, I do think the record does drag on a little bit and the run time could be shortened. Overall, this is definitely worth checking out as it is a great experience with a lot of musical quality to back it up.

Wow, I just listened to this album the other day and now it's album of the day. What an experience this album is, almost perfect.

I don't feel like I could ever give this a proper rating, there's just so much going on and I love it. As far as influences go, I feel like I can hear Faust, Sonic Youth, maybe some Hawkwind, and sprinklings of tribal music (those bongos are omnipresent). If I ever decide to purchase this CD, I can almost guarantee it will be in my car constantly.

The soundtrack to a jungle trek. It starts off with Circle (which is the best on the album by far) in which you are enter the jungle, basking in the sun, and then BAM!, a stampede comes straight away, and you're running away panicking. After the first 20 minutes of your journey you start to settle down, but the journey goes on for over an hour. It's a crazy journey of just energetic beats and cool sounds. It's tropical. If I had one word to describe this entire album, it would definitely be 'tropical'.
