Solid Metal but the mixing sounds archaic, especially the drums are badly recorded.

Solid metal. But, The mixing of this album sounds archaic, thus giving a slightly messy result, plus the guitars are put to the background, they do not really rule. Guitar solos do not convince me.
can you play? NO can you write? NO can you flail? YES ok, you're in.

Venom is just a detuned, faster, crappier Motörhead. This album and Welcome to Hell aren't that bad though.

A milestone for extreme metal!
This is officialy called "The First Black Metal" album , nowadays its just Thrash Metal but history is history.
