Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 66.9/100, a mean average of 66.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 66.4/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.4.

Along with Fallen Angels & Triplicate, this is ok for a single listen ~ but I don't know if it adds anything to the American soundtrack. If I wanted to hear Sinatra songs (which is not something on my 'to do' list), I'd listen to Sinatra. In the same vein, if I want Dylan songs I will listen to Dylan.
No, già fatto anche quello ( "Good as i been to you" ). Allora potresti rifare i pezzi dei tuoi genitori, i brani di Frank Sinatra, per scoprirti magari anche grande performer, grande crooner. Questo è "Shadows in the night", noiosetto ma non brutto.
Dylan's tribute to Frank Sinatra. It's a nice record and sort of fun, but the novelty wears off after a few listens. Bob just simply cannot hold a candle to Sinatra's versions, you're better of listening to Frank do them a million times better. Still, it's alright. I'm a fool to love you, and, the night we called it a day are good. Best though is, why try to change me now?, and closing track, that lucky old sun. I believe he's making another one now, but in truth, one's enough. Not bad, but hardly essential.
Great nightime listening. Dylan in great voice and outstanding overall production. Lucky Old Sun the highlight here. MEZ
Late night gem. Superb reworkings of songs recorded by, though not necessarily associated with Frank Sinatra.
A little somber romantic album. Kind of music I love
Dylan has never sounded more vulnerable than on this album. He's finally delivered to us the 'Blood on the Tracks' for the twilight years, how painful it sounds, right out of the American Songbook.
