I didn't expect a lot from this mix tape/album, especially with the lack of promotion that usually precedes a Drake album drop, but after reading about the feud between Drake and Cash Money Records, it's evident that Drake not only made the right move by releasing this album the way he did, but he also did not degrade the quality of the production and content matter by releasing a mediocre album just to fulfill a contract agreement. Definitely an album that will grow on you after each listen, as you will begin to memorize and pick out your favorite parts from the many offered. the first half of the album seems to be loaded with the best songs, while the second half hasn't impressed me as much, but even then Drake proves that he is one of the best commercial rappers out, and we can continue to expect great music from him.
My favorite song is "*67", because of the lyrical content, delivery and the way the beat changes partway through.
Yeah it's to late not to have ever listened to this album.

Would probably have a higher rating if it wasnt for the PARTYNEXTDOOR features, which i didnt really dig at all. But other than that this shit is the most confidence inducing album ever, everytime I listen to this mixtape (whatever) i feel so so good and top. He just oozes class and confidence all over this record and it's so enjoyable to listen to and keeps me coming back.
