I think that Sinatra’s voice matured over time and on this album his economy of voice, together with its whisky soaked timbre, lends a beautifully relaxed vibe to this album I’ve never found anywhere else.
Also, the sleeve notes are great...a masterpiece.
This is a fantastic record. Great songs, great singing (of course). Cannot believe it’s not in his top ten.
