Lendário álbum do tênis. Pepita de ouro da MPB/Progressivo.
Solo debut of Lô, AKA "the sneakers album". His strongest songs were already recorded in "Clube da Esquina", but this is not a bad record.
Compared to the superlative Clube da Esquina it's a modest effort, but that modesty is part of its charm. It's wonderful to hear Lô Borges deeply personal style, his haunting melodies and unique arrangements, in such a carefree, 'throw it against the wall and see what sticks' album. There's some filler (the instrumental tracks), but there's more inspiration in the good songs than in most albums from the MPB big names.
Lô Borges se tornou uma das minhas grandes inspirações, realmente tinha um talento inconstestável para a composição. Fico feliz em saber dão a ele o valor que merece, esse disco chegou até nas mãos do Alex Turner para compor seu disco no Artic Monkeys.
