Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 71.0/100, a mean average of 70.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 70.4/100. The standard deviation for this album is 20.0.

I've read that a lot of people don't like dealer as much as the Albatross, because the songs aren't as "emotional" or "explosive". I would rather say it feels like a different phase of emotion. A more "ripened" phase (not sure if this is clear), lets say "the calm after the storm". I like it just as much as The albatross, maybe even more. If you didn't like it the first time, listen to it again, play it loud and from the beginning until the end.
Well outside of not being shoegaze or even close to it and generally not being received quite as warmly as The Albatross, I guess I'd agree with MUSICSNOB.
So yeah it's not quite as good as The Albatross, or perhaps more just fairly different, but it's still very very good. Not as intimate but perhaps more musically impressive post-rock with some emo influences, but this has perhaps moved away from the emo sound of the debut. Lyrically still gorgeous and the instrumentals are much more fleshed out now
