Great album. There's a way that Claypool's bass and Herb's drums explosively pop together that's unique to early Primus. You really hear it here and on Seas of Cheese.

I was 11 years old when this album came out. My brother had just started learning to play bass. Naturally, this is the record he wanted to learn to play. Taking his lead, this quickly became my favorite album of that time. I was obsessed. Calypool's bass still sounds like no other.
