One of my favorite albums of all time. Perfect balance between the poppy bliss of Solar Sister or Love letter boxes and the more somber tracks such as Burn & Shine and How she lied by living. Definitely, a marvelous record.
This album gets a 78 on my rankings with the first three songs all scoring between 85 and 89. Definate door is also a very solid song. My favorite Poises album.
Perfect grunge sound: heavy but light(like the beating of egg whites on the cover). And nice pop songs.
I saw them in Madrid in 1993 (with Teenage Fanclub) presenting this album. FOTB contains some of the best pop gems of the last 30 years

This album is one of my top 100 albums and it contains a classic opening salvo of three killer tracks: "Dream All Day", "Solar Sister" and " Flavor of the Month" (with the classic chorus: "The flavor of the month is busy melting in my mouth, getting easier to swallow but harder to spit out").
