First time hearing anything by this band other than Lovefool and I am immediately a fan. These songs are soo good, and that Iron Man cover has no business working that well.
The Cardigans’ take on ironic bubble gum pop hits very high highs and very low lows. Lovefool is an all time classic (for very good reason) and Choke is a phenomenal album ender, while Losers and Heartbreaker drag in the mud a little. Still very good

Ready to wear cutie pop. One hit single, otherwise quite meh..
Deceptively simple music, as each track contains fun musical surprises which kept me engaged. For example, the warbly chorus on "Losers" completely out of left field. Or the adventurous hip hop percussion on "Iron Man". Along with numerous other quirks in arrangements and instrumentation. It's actually pretty adventurous musically, with very good songs throughout. The sweet twee vocals are nice too, though could have used a bit of variety. Interesting theme about female codependency in relationships. Overall I quite liked this, and wouldn't mind hearing more from this band.
Nice pick from 1001 Albums You Must Hear. Best: "Step On Me", "Lovefool", "Losers", "Choke".

Good pop rock/alternative rock album. Best 10 songs average is 83,0/100 and the album can get good 85/100. Best song is "Lovefool" 90/100, followed by "Been it" and "Step on me" both 85/100. All other songs in the region of 75-80/100.
