Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. I usually don't go for these all cover records and was even more apprehensive when I saw Ace was going to tackle "White Room." Holy smokes he pulled it off as I think its the best song on here. Way to go Ace! Getting Paul Stanley to sing on "Fire and Water" was also an inspired move. Overall this is not a bad record. Lots of KISS covers of songs he wrote before he was doing vocals in the band so your ability to like this record is limited to your acceptance of his choices. I was pleasntly surprised.
