Mind-altering substances
So this came up on spotify and I was surprised just how amazing it is. I can see how the eastern rhythms throw some people off. As a Das Racist and Mahavishnu fan, I’m very used to hearing eastern rhythms in my hip hop and psychedelic rock respectively. I’ll refrain from rating it until I can sit with it a few more days. As of now, I think it’ll find it’s way onto my top 100.

This album is fudging amazing, but absolutely not for everyone. Yes there is voice clipping, no Gonjasufi ain't the most stellar vocalist, but heck if I don't love this album all the more for it.

funny, maybe that is the way I should rate albums in the future. I haven't heard this album so I am not commenting on the quality of it..

I'm only giving it a 20 because I was able to endure it for 20 minutes. Into the trash bin!
Ancestors is an amazing track, and so is Holidays, but the rest just doesn't do it for me. The voice clipping is horrible!!
