The combination of Grant Green, Larry Young and Elvin Jones played together on four albums, this one, Larry Young's Into Something and Green's I Want to Hold Your Hand and Street of Dreams. Into Something (with Sam Rivers), is perhaps the most consistent of the three, but I think "Talking About J.C." here is their best single track and Green's best single performance, its modernity pushing Green's playing to its limits.
