For me the overall band rating is higher than any of the individual albums.

Saorise is right... these guys epitomised many of the fatiguing qualities of the 90s. Clever lyrics, dead-pan delivery, funky sound... but they never progressed beyond that. After awhile, they just sound trite.
Really epitomizes the irony-heavy 90s, and often in the worst ways possible. A few decent songs here and there but a whole album can be torture, like being completelly chained to the floor and experiencing nothing more than a person standing above you constantly chuckling, in a dry monotone, nothing more than "Ha, you're chained to the floor".

When they're good, they're really good. However, there's only a few bright spots per album. Nothing here that you'd want to listen to all the way through in a single sitting. Definitely not one to put on as the soundtrack to your road trip.
Don't really understand why, but they're my all-time favorite band, bar-none!
