Freddie Hubbard is on on of my top two trumpeters of all time (alongside Lee Morgan). He was a master of hard bop who then seamlessly blended post-bop, soul-jazz, and fusion into a magnificent jazz evolution. His playing is technically brilliant always and soulful when need be. His catalog is diverse and I could listen to him all day long.
