Don't understand how he is so underrated here. Just have a listen to his stuff. Who cares if he was an actor in the Hunger Games and is well known in Hollywood for things other than music. Just have a listen and tell me he is not one of the best musicians of the past 20 years.

When I got his first album in my hands I loved it! I got really excited with the potential in this guy. Unfortunately, with every album he took a step back. Until I stopped listening. I'll give him that he can still come up with the odd hit song/catchy tune though...

He's better than his reputation. His dabbling in celebrity culture, outrageous album liners and high profile romances have sullied the music. Imagine if someone less narcissistic recorded his music - you'd see it differently. The music is underrated.
