So very glad they made some kind of “comeback” with Strangeland. It’s akin to the first two studio albums, Hopes and Fears and Under the Iron Sea. Both of these are terrific releases. Very atmospheric in the musical sense with haunting aching lyrics and vocals.
Depressing songs are wonderful if you’re in to such music. Check out the following:

B-side He Used to Be a Lovely Boy is an absolute gem.
Lots of repetition, some bland songs, some knockout. Overall great.

Keane was another one of the post-Radiohead 2000s bands that seems to produce high-quality intelligent musics, but fails to make a strong impression with me. Huh.
Keane are a great band I think! Really underrated, very relate-able lyrics, quite a lot of beauty in the sound and great singing voice with real heart.
Hopes And Fears their debut is still one of my very favourite albums every, still love it all. Definitely give that listen.
I will listen to anything by them.
