I would agree that most of paramore is "shitty teenage pop punk for girls" HOWEVER listen to "misguided ghosts" and "only exception" and I think you will find they actually do have a bit of talent

Paramore are fairly talented and its obvious that they aren't going to be the most critically acclaimed in music. However they have a really solid discography and always put on a great live show.

Pop-punk's magnum opus. Innovative sound, lyrics that balance teenagery emotions with catchy pop themes and, more than anything else, a constant, unending sense of fun. Even better, if their last record is anything to go by, they're changing direction entirely, making them only more exciting.

I don't give a fuck truly about how people rate them...not much of a listener of pop/punk music, but very well done..every song they have made has been good...not amazing, but good...good enough for me to give them an 85%
