The man's a genius no doubt, his sound now is too compressed at times, I love him, but his claims that electronic strings sound just as good as a pompous orchestra is self delusion, oh for God sake and use a drummer sir Jeff. There are still some gems on everything he does though, moments of beauty.
This has plenty of nice-sounding cuts on it, but nothing challenging or especially interesting. He doesn't seem like he's reaching at all on this one--there are no bank shots--it's all straight.
