Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A lot of Liam's solo stuff is pretty much like what he was doing with Oasis but both of the studio albums he has put out (at the time of writing) have been very solid efforts. Also think the 'MTV Unplugged' and 'Acoustic Sessions' are worth checking out too, and fair play to him for pulling off one of rock's most successful comebacks when you think where he was after Beady Eye disbanded.
As You Were was awesome. Liam is the last rock star in the world <3
