His voice is undeniable; I think it stands on its own as great. As for the rest, they have great influences (obviously Zep, but I hear some Rush, also). I'm excited to see where this band goes as they find their own sound.
Just unreal how good these guys are. Ive been a daily consumer of music for decades. I can comfortably say these guys are a top top top band.

I don't really get the hate. So once you like a band, anything that tries to emulate it becomes immediately bad? These guys are so young and talented, it's great that they chose Led Zeppelin as their role models. I'm pretty sure that they'll get to their own sound eventually.

If I wanted to listen to something that sounds exactly like Led Zeppelin... I'd listen to Led Zeppelin.

Although Led Zeppelin is probably one of the toughest bands of copy, Greta Van fleet has done it, and very well at that. Now as a fairly big Zeppelin fan, of course the music sounds good to me. However... with that said, its hard for me to give props to the band when they are ripping off Zeppelin that much...it's like they have no originality. Their personality is just...Zeppelin.
My guess is the band quickly realized that their lead singer can do a great Robert Plant impersonation, and went from there.
I got to see them live once before too and I highly recommend it as well. These guys are bringing back the best of classic rock sound from the late 60's and 70's, and still differentiating themselves from those classic rock bands people compare them to. Great debut. I can't wait to see what they put out in the coming years.

These guys really do rock... Do yourself a favor and listen to their music and see them live!! Great performance look them up on YouTube. Can't wait for more!
