I agree that they were late to the power ballad/glam/blues metal show and are a highly underrated band...and they knew it, and tried to overextend a bit by the time the 2000s came along. Psychologically I think that attributed to The Station fire (e.g. pyro in small venues; they should've been playing in larger venues, and they should have kept their ego in check, but that can be debated for a long times). The fire wasn't really the band's "fault" per se (though legally the tour manager was appropriately punished...the Derderians is another story) but from the band's perspective it's just another layer of this tragic story of what-ifs that formulate the history of Great White.

Very under-rated band because they got lumped in with the hair metal glam rock scene. They were much more bluesy and classic rock than their contemporaries. If they'd been on the scene a few years earlier they would have been much bigger.
