We call him grandpa Bob but I cannot tell you a lot about him.
He is on tour since I was born and I havn´t seen him for a while.
It´s a pity that I was not invited to his lecture in Stockholm.
I´ll forgive him!

She is my little sister, she is called Anja and she is a born Päffgen, for we don´t have the same mother.
I remember the old times when her sister Christa came across and sung with her...
But... as our uncle Elvis from America used to say: Little sister don´t you do whot your big sister´s done.

Unkle Andre always has been the smartest boy in our family. Maybe this makes him so melancholic. Not everyone loves smart melancholic boys.
I have always been a little bit sceptic towards him but he did this
album with the help of other smart boys like Brian Eno, The Waxolutionists, The Walkabouts or Thomas D.

He has a dark heart and a good sense of humour. He sure dousn´t look at the world in an optimistic way and he passed away pretty soon after I saw him performing live... I guess it wasn´t my fault.

Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 87.0/100, a mean average of 86.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 87.1/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 12.6.

Even with one artist and no albums in common, this list is very good indeed. There are a few artists like Travis that I really do detest, but apart from that the list is well-varied and has many surprises to it.

The notes, although short in general, are always a worthwhile addition in my mind.

Bold list with some classical albums and things I've never heard of. But including Silver Apples in the top ten, and Joan Baez's first (just listened to it yesterday: excellent!) in the top twenty gets mad props from me.

6 albums in common must check out Tangerine Dream I like the stuff they did for movie soundtracks in the 80s. Great to see Falco, I only know Rock Me Amadeus but he was a mad genius. A lot to check out. Bonus points for Travis.

It's neat to see so much Austrian music, even if I am not familiar with it.
