25 Reasons to buy a Compilation Album
by Error Finn
My Overall Chart haven´t any of the Collection album.Studio albums and collections in my opinion, struggling a variety of series.Studio albums are central to the assessment of the bands / artists, artistic makings. They are also a sign of the new material, without which the music world can´t go forward.A collection of albums, the most important task is to maximize sales.A good example is Elvis Presley's album catalog, most of his albums are compilations. And even though Don Henley opposed to a collection of album release policies, tailored to their collection "Their Greatest Hits" 1971-1975 (1976) came to the United States of the all-time best-selling album (29 x Platinum). Another very famous collection "Legends"(1984) by Bob Marley And The Wailers is ranked number 196.(202 charts) in the Overall Greatest album chart. Thanks to this collection, people began to know about Marley's music much better. This is the best thing in the collections, they allow to discover new music much more easily.Collections levels vary tremendously. Most of which are poorly assembled. Some albums don´t simply reflect the author's entire career in the music of the best moments. I've listened to a number of collections. Some of the artists I've only just listened to their collections.I have chosen my list of the best collections, and in addition to the artists / bands(9) whose albums, I haven´t chosen one other of my charts.

The Kinks - The Kings of the Collections! First, I have to admit that I own the album, which has a similar cover, published (Castle) in the same year (I bought it in the same year), but have little bit different songs, like this 25th anniversary release. My album is called simply "The Ultimate Collection" and it has 25 songs, the 25-year publication is only 20.This album deals with only the years 1964-1970, of that period hits and the B-side of the rarer songs, not eighties hit "Come Dancing".

I found this album, and I paid it used for only 5 €. CCR, this a straightforward band, made quite a lot of good music, a small amount of time. CCR collections, I think are more logical, as for example The Band collections.Because the CCR was a hit single band.Double-CD, nice booklet with knowledgeable information and 40 songs!

How much DB and The Eagles were rivals in the 1970's? Or rather, I saw how a lot of these bands had the same supporters? Both were California-based musical style of the brightest stars, and how it just both released on the same (both collections were compiled from almost the same years) times collection of most significant album! Best of Doobies/US:10 x Multi-Platinum (Diamond Award).I chose the "Doobie" the album collections of the top, because I haven´t listened to the band's studio albums enough.I think the album cover is really nostalgic 70´s style, jukebox in the middle, like waiting for someone to put the money to the machine and it starts to play, "Listen to the Music".

When Sam Phillips sold Elvis Presley's the RCA, got it (RCA) rights to Elvis' Sun recordings. Not until twenty years later, they were collected and the album was released under the name "Elvis Presley Sun Collection". (It was issued by RCA Records in 1976, and had been issued and charted number 16 as The Sun Collection in the UK the previous year.) On this album, is a collection of quite a lot to offer. And its appreciation, early rock'n'roll of recordings, only increased. In 2001, the TV channel VH1 named it the 21st greatest album of all time.

Good music is good is it in any form, even in a collection. After a number of Paul Simon's studio albums, it was refreshing to buy and enjoy - Simon & Garfunkel Collection!Every time I hear the S & G's music, I can think of summer. I think that this kind of music must have been born during the warm era."The Definitive"includes "all the mandatory" and a couple of live "delicacy" (apparently the 1981 Central Park Concert) which are successful, even though the AllMusic disparages ..

Just look at the photos of the album - what a special combination of Stonehenge and industrial consumption!Unlike many other collections of "Remastered" doesn´t follow chronological order, but the songs have been applied for a new kind of balance and drama."Remastered" is a fidelity effective package.

Some time ago (November 2013), published in The Beatles' most recent album. Well, it was not new ... "but the old in new clothing." Publication joined the BBC in sound recordings. Also, Mr. Hendrix has published - after his death, really a lot of albums. And he also played with BBC programs. Now, afterwards, we can estimate the importance of the BBC has been a popular music? "Hendrix sessions" in the BBC's studios in my opinion are great, even historical."The BBC Sessions" are immediate way directly to the striking events, without the "actual studio," containing technical intrigues. This is not the usual collection of the best, but the more time tied to the summary. By the way, Stevie Wonder is also involved, as a drummer.

Dusty Springfield was (16 April 1939 - 2 March 1999), female version of the British Invasion (=blue-eyed soul) of the 1960s. Younger ones to remember her in collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys ("What Have I Done to Deserve This?", 1987) and, surprisingly, the "Son of a Preacher Man" on the soundtrack of Pulp Fiction (1994).This collection is pure the sixties (with 18 singles in the Billboard Hot 100 from 1964 to 1970).

Good collection, which is sort of the peak moments of the two organizations (Roxy Music+Bryan Ferry), one album. However, Roxy Music has done so much important music of its career just by looking at the hits, it is the injustice. For example, a great album, "Country Life" (1974), have to listen to as a whole. However, the above-mentioned classic album, there is not a single song!

As the "1001 Book" well expressed it: "If Bolan had his boogie, Slade had their stomp".Slade, if anything, is a single hit band (Between 1971 and 1976, they enjoyed 17 consecutive UK Top 20 hits, including six No. 1s).Their success was the era, in between The Beatles and punk rock.Because their music is time-bound, the collection shows all the essentials (as opposed to the Roxy Music). I could never think that I listen to some of their album...but I can listen to Slade sometimes, a little bit. Crazee Now!
