If you like them, you like them, if you don't, you don't. Who am I to tell you want to like and what not to like. I hope some of these open your ears and expand your horizons! I love the beatles, stones, nirvana, radiohead as much as the next man, but they are so over played and over used, it's time for some new favorite albums! Hope you enjoy some of the delights on here! (Honorable mention to Motorpsycho, Dan Arborise's Of Tide & Tail, QOTSA's Rated R & Smashing Pumpkins's Mellon Collie for just missing out)

I love Wasting Light and The Foo Fighters, but I don't know about putting that at #1. Either way though it's always nice to see some different albums.

Well, because you were one of the two who had put 'Becoming A Jackal' on their lists, I found this page, and now it seems to me quite interesting. There are so many great stuff here and many that I should check out.
By the way, I don know how to rate this chart, but it will definitely go among my favourites.

@apperill are you for real? just because an albums new doesnt mean its not good. and it isnt anything like sugarhi's chart either, which is more pop punk/scene, whereas this is more alternative/indie. anyways, i like this chart alot. theres definetly some stuff ill be checking out (:

No it isn't, Applerill. It's just different (and almost entirely contemporary). I'm actually curious to check some of these out, since the one's I have heard, I mostly like.

Well, this doesn't't have Brokencyde on it, but otherwise, this is almost as bad as Sugarhi's chart. WAYYY too many new albums.

idlewild being at the top I didn't expect it at all. but when I bought it to listen to it expecting more of the same, previous album sounding stuff(which is no bad thing) I was plesently surprised! It's just full of brilliant & varied songwriting. Classic songwriting!
