I hate this band with a burning passion. In my carpool in high school we would listen to the radio and Sex On Fire and Use Somebody would get played all the time. Both of those songs are infuriatingly annoying. I always hated this band, even back then. His fucking whimpering Eddie Vedder voice and those fucking choruses, rrgh! It puts such rage in me whenever I hear this fucking band in stores and shit.

First two albums are nice, third is ok and fourth has several good songs, most of which are still overhyped cause Use Somebody is really not THAT fantastic. A nice indie band, some pretty great songs but nothing that special. Seeing them live in June though, so I may change opinion

Great band for the most part. Because Of The Times and, Youth And Young Man Hood are my two favourites as I love every song. Aha Shake Heartbreak is also great. Only By The Night does have some great songs. However overplayed Sex On Fire was, it's still a great song.

The past two albums are listenable but nothing stands out and sticks in my mind like the other albums.

Aha Shake Heartbreak, Youth and Young Manhood and Because of the Times. In that order. Don't bother with the "made for radio" crap albums recently made. (Only by the Night, Mechanical Bull)

But those first three, man, they are a damn good listen.

One of the best bands at creating musical euphoria.

Not the worst, not the best. Easily forgettable rock-radio fare.

I started listening to this by band when Only By The Night came out and I loved it. Ironically, now it's my 5th favorite album of theirs out of 5, but that doesn't mean I do not like it. I just think their first 3 albums are awesome and their latest was pretty darn good too.

Their first album is straight out of a time machine from the 70's which is the best decade for Rock & Roll. I have yet to find a song of theirs I do not like and I can't even say that about The Beatles or Radiohead who are my 2 favorite bands followed by this one.

As with all music it's all subjective, regardless of "critics". My favourite album from the Kings, because...i enjoy it, simple as that.

This is the most over-hyped band out there right now. Kings of Leon have always been over-hyped ever since the beginning. They have never had a good album let alone a great album. Everything they produce sounds forced and predictable. Their best effort was their first EP Holy Roller Novocaine. Most of the songs from that EP were on their first album but the first album also included a handful of bad songs as well. Kings of Leon do have a few good songs and one good EP but that's it. This band has zero potential. They will never create a great album. I have said that ever since their first album was released. So far I am right. Their best album so far is Because of the Times and it is just decent. I hope they will prove me wrong someday but I doubt they ever will.
