My favorite albums, the ones that I consider to be the greatest music records ever made.
There are a lot albums done by the same bands. This is not because I have only listened to this particular bands. I like a lot of music artists and records, but the ones that I really love are only those listed here and a few more. If I tried to do a more varied list it would not be true to my taste. Besides, I do really think that the following albums are the greatest ones ever recorded.

Simply the best piece of art in music history. An unprecedented work that shows all the talent as a composer, as a guitarist and as a visionary of Kevin Shields. Beautiful, innovative, original, with a unique sound that turns into a sonic experience for the listener like no other CD. My Bloody Valentine reached perfection with Loveless, that represented the evolution of Noise Rock that was Shoegaze. It is really impossible to define the magnitude of this record. You simply have to listen it very loud to enjoy a peerless experience.

Discovery represents the perfection in electronic music. An album that shows that with beautiful and sometimes easy-listening melodies it is possible to create a true and unmatched masterpiece. A cohesive but never monotonous album that obeyed solely to the musical will of the French duo, transgressing the frontiers of House Music to create something extraordinary. The fact that this album has the ability to be liked by everybody makes Discovery to be sometimes underrated, but if you listen to it carefully, you will be able to see the real talent of Bangalter and Homem-Christo.

Although Loveless is regarded as the definitive masterpiece of the Irish band (and it really is), Isn't Anything in not far behind. The debut album of My Bloody Valentine is the perfect union of the noise rock concept by two of the most extraordinary bands of the 80s: It has the beauty and character of The Jesus And Mary Chain combined with the power and the energy of Sonic Youth. The result is an LP superior to the work of its precedents, as the musical talent of Kevin Shields puts the final touch to the record. Rough and sophisticated at the same time, and with songs close to perfection, Isn't Anything is like nothing made before or after.

There is nothing much to explain about Kid A that has not been already said. Kid A is probably with Loveless the album that represents perfection in artistic and transgressive values. But in this case it is accomplished by catching and mixing a lot of previous music styles without obeying any fashion or standard other than the band's one. Kid A is like an odyssey through calm and rationality, what is probably the most intelligent and eclectic rock record ever made. An absolute masterpiece.
