"A squid eating dough in a polyethylene bag is fast and bulbous. Got me?"
After a long time refusing to put this on any of my charts, it eventually made its way onto the low end of my 60s chart, then slowly climbed up that, and has finally managed to make it onto my overall chart. You can argue that the true value in this album is in the complexity of the rhythms and harmonies and so on, and while that is a lot of it, the main reason this album is great is because it's just so funny. I mean, how many other chaotic, dissonent blues albums are there about a squid eating dough in a polyethylene bag by a Pepsi-powered madman who tortured his band members?
Favourite Tracks: Pena, Moonlight On Vermont, Pachudo Cadaver, Veteran's Day Poppy, Hair Pie Bake 1 [First added to this chart: 05/06/2017]

"The purple piper plays his tune, the choir softly sing, three lullabies in an ancient tongue, for the Court of the Crimson King."
This album is like being lost in an abandoned castle where every bookcase conceals a hidden door, rooms lead back into themselves, and the paintings move when you look away.
Favourite tracks: 21st Century Schizoid Man, The Court Of The Crimson King, Epitaph [First added to this chart: 05/06/2017]
