Never has an album captivated me as much as The Glow has. Whenever I cry it cries with me. It is the most human and real album i've ever listened to. Every experience I've had amplifies and becomes memorable when listened to. Its the most lonely album ever. It is a harsh breeze on a dark cold snowy night. Its horrifyingly beautiful. It reminds you you are human.

Experimental rock, electronica

Im 16, and a drummer for my school jazz ensemble/marching band (tenor drums). This is my competition bus ride album. I have so many vivid memories with this album including a 2 hour school bus ride, pitch black with Kid A in. I stared out the window and fell asleep at "Treefingers" to wake up at morning bell. It is one of the best album experiences It was a social cleanser, if I felt like I said something wrong or needed to vent, Kid A would listen.

Progressive rock, hard rock

I used to listen to exclusively Dream Theater as a young child, due to my dad being extremely into them. Certain albums still hold a special place in my heart by them, but when I think progressive rock/metal I think of King Crimson. On my way of exploring other genres, I started checking out early 70's progressive rock albums (adventurous I know). I started with Yes, and eventually got around to King Crimson. I think ITCOTCK is fantastic, but I think Red is King Crimsons masterpiece.

Pawn Hearts is a heartache of an album. The 23 minute closer is one of the greatest songs ever written (In my opinion). While some may find it too dramatic, I find Peter Hamill to be a captivating singer. Also the drummer is crazy good.

Lofi folk

In The Aeroplane Over The Sea is a very special album to me, its flow and emotion is unlike any other album i've listened to. But to me, this live set of NMH songs from IAOTS and more is the perfect relase from Jeff. Its such a close and interactive album, with even better versions of classic songs.
